Guest Ratings & Reviews
I had a delightful stay at the hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a long flight. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, ensuring a smooth check-in process even late at night. The location was wonderful, providing easy access to downtown while maintaining a quiet atmosphere. However, the morning chill in the room was a bit uncomfortable.
Staying on the 2nd floor was a good idea due to an overbooking issue via the booking system. The rooms had generous heating and were serviced daily. The hotel offers a welcoming service that accommodated our late arrival time with no fuss, and the staff went above and beyond, even turning on lights when returning after dark. The location is very nice and appreciated, as it is within walking distance of the city center. Although the dining options were a bit basic, having our own choices was a plus.
After driving for hours to check in with my elderly parents, the room we received was not as booked, which was disappointing. The hotel is well-furnished and clean but lacks common extras found in other motels. The staff were lovely, quick to deal with issues, and charming. The location, though quiet, was a bit far from town for our liking but convenient for dining. The dining was a bit basic, and could have been more imaginative.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of pleasant and not-so-great experiences. The location was great, close to good restaurants and bars, offering a quiet and central spot in Christchurch. However, the room had some strong unpleasant smells from previous guests, affecting the overall comfort of the stay. The dining experience was simple and could have been more varied, but the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful.
The hotel rooms were very clean, comfortable, and in a good location fairly close to downtown and easy to get to from the airport. They were immaculate with plenty of room for a family of four, equipped with handrails in the bathroom and hazard-free surfaces and flooring, providing everything needed for small kids. The service was excellent, providing all the information needed to get around Christchurch, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was convenient, only a short drive to town, and perfect for self-driving trips. The dining experience, while a bit basic, had its own charm. The facilities were top-notch, offering a lovely stay overall.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The room was an excellent value for money with a luxurious spa bath and a comfortable double bed. It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed, including a full kitchen. However, there was a strong, unpleasant smell, especially under the kitchen sink. The location was very quiet and central to Christchurch City, but a bit far out of town for our liking.
The hotel impressed me with its exceptionally clean rooms and great location close to Christchurch downtown. The staff were lovely and helpful, willing to go the extra mile for our group of 5. However, the rooms being too high up posed some safety concerns, especially when using appliances like the microwave. The dining experience was a bit basic, lacking imaginative dishes, but we had our own arrangements. Overall, a worth-staying-at hotel.
The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and in a good location, fairly close to downtown and easy to get to from the airport. The rooms need renovation but were adequate for my stay as I wasn't there during the day, only at night. The service was excellent and just what I needed after traveling non-stop. The location was super close to the center of Christchurch. The dining experience could have been more imaginative, but the homemade pastries were a nice touch.
The motel was close to attractions and within walking distance into Christchurch. The room had everything we needed and even a large hot water cylinder in the wardrobe providing hot water for multiple uses. However, the room had been closed for an hour or more before our arrival, which was a bit inconvenient.
The motel rooms are very comfortable and clean, but some extras common in other motels were lacking. The service is incredibly helpful and friendly. The location is convenient, although not too close to dining options. The dining experience, while basic, could be more imaginative. The motel facilities are well-equipped for safety.
